Seattle Gentle Beginnings specializes in Postpartum Doula Care and Pediatric Sleep Consulting

As a Postpartum Doula, I support families at any point during the Fourth Trimester—the first three months postpartum. Whether you’re hoping for just a few visits or steady support throughout the full three months, I’m here to help you settle into these early months with calm, evidence‑based care. My services include newborn feeding support, newborn education and care,
sleep education and coaching, and guidance in understanding newborn cues and behaviors.

As a Pediatric Sleep Consultant, I support families navigating sleep challenges with their little ones (3 months to 6 years of age). I can help you understand your child’s sleep patterns and uncover what’s at the heart of the difficulties, using a holistic approach that honors your parenting values.
After an initial sleep assessment, I create a personalized sleep plan to guide your family toward healthy, restful sleep.





Why do pediatric sleep consultants typically begin working with babies at 3 months?
Before starting any form of sleep training, your baby should typically be around 12–14 pounds or about 3–4 months old. We also want to see some readiness signs—like giving occasional longer stretches of sleep at night and/or showing early signs of being able to self‑soothe. Until then, I simply recommend focusing on building healthy, consistent sleep routines so your little one is well‑prepared when they’re developmentally ready for sleep training.
